# Translations

This tab is here if you wish to set a different *Title* or *Alternative text* for each language, as well as values for [Media attributes](/resources/media-attributes.md).

By default, only one language is displayed here, so if you want to add more, use the drop-down Translation list from the upper left corner.

Keep in mind that for a language to be available in this drop-down, it must first be activated from [settings](/system/settings/languages.md).

| Field                     | Description                                                                                     |
| ------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Title                     | Used as a tooltip on mouse hoover in the browser                                                |
| Alternative text          | Used as alternative text displayed in the browser, when an image is for some reason not visible |
| \<media\_attribute\_name> | Place to enter value for a media attribute for specific resource                                |
